What is DefenseLite Security Shield?

In Portland, we’re experiencing a lot of broken glass over the past two years. For an office building with five, 10, or even more windows, constant replacements can cause a real dent in the bottom line. For a smaller business, replacing a window or two every month can be crippling.

With DefenseLite, a simple brick or swing of a bat or crowbar won’t be enough to break through, much less get to your windows. The shield is actually installed an inch or two in front of the window, into the existing frame, so it takes all of the punishment.

And it’s designed to take as much punishment as someone can give it. Built with durable polycarbonate material and vented for flexibility, it can take up to 40 minutes before someone actually breaks through the DefenseLite guard. Usually, vandalism like smashing a window is an “in-the-moment” crime–in most cases, the perp will move on after a few minutes.
